I have an AAS (Associate of Applied Science) degree, but I am unemployed at the moment. while searching for a job, I noticed that jobs prefer Early Childhood Education Credential as a requirement. How do I, and where do I start to earn such? Do I take classes? And then after classes, what do I do? Do I have to take a test? I am confused. I tried to search online and There are degrees for ECE, and then there is CDA … what is the difference?

I’m currently in school now, going for my BA in early childhood education. But I’m also interested in becoming a college professor and teaching early childhood education courses to college and/or university students. I’m a little confused on what degree I’ll need to do this (specifically the title of the degree). Do I just need an MA in early childhood education? Or would I need something else as well? Maybe someone can clear up my confusion. Thanks in advance.

I just started college and I’m taking childhood education. I want to work as an assistant teacher or paraprofessional while still in college. What do I have to do in order to start working as an assistant teacher or paraprofessional? I know there are certain tests I have to pass, is that all? I really need to know what will land me a job as fast as possible in the school system. Thanks, much appreciated.

I’m going to college soon and my major is early childhood education. What careers would I be able to have with that degree? Would I be able to be a teacher, if so of what grades?

I am interested in teaching preschool, kindergarten, first through third grade reading, art, physical education, or special education. Which one would fall into this category? I would like to know what the difference is between early childhood education and elementary education.
